Menopause Matters
The Menopause Matters Workshop focuses on three areas that not only affect menopausal women but are important for everyone. Whilst Nutrition is the primary focus for this workshop, it also includes important information about how to have a balanced approach to a healthy mind and body. We’ll explore by taste and discussion various foods and their specific benefits for bone, heart, and brain health. The Information and suggestions provided are intended to offer guidance and promote a healthier lifestyle during the menopause transition.

Menopause Matters :
Menopause touches us all. Whether we’re experiencing its symptoms ourselves or supporting a family member, friend, or colleague.
Heart Health – Covering heart friendly foods choices that can help prevent clots, improve blood lipid levels, and enhance circulation.
Bone Strength- Delving into bone friendly foods and supporting healthy choices to help maintain bone density, reduce risk of fractures and support overall skeletal health.
Optimal Brain- Exploring brain-boosting foods to opt for nutritious choices that can contribute to cognitive wellbeing, support mental clarity and enhance brain function.

Exploring Breath & Mindfulness Tools
Twelve-Week Programme
Duration: 12 x 30-minute live weekly sessions (via Zoom or equivalent)
Objective: Deepen participants’ experience, familiarity, and comfort with mindfulness tools, equipping them to build their own breath and mindfulness toolkits. This programme supports participants in better managing their mental, emotional, and physiological wellbeing.
Discussion: Each session will discuss the benefits of the tools for the mind and body, and provide tips on integrating the tools into daily life, both for managing situations and as an ongoing practice.
Tool Management: Participants will learn tools for managing the stress response, promoting sleep, energising, creating balance, and enhancing focus and creativity.
Foundational Structure: Sessions will include a short breath practice to settle participants in, followed by discussion and practice of formal and informal mindfulness tools.
Progressive Programme: While the programme is progressive, each session remains relevant and accessible for participants who may drop in and out rather than commit to the entire series.
Greentree Wellbeing Talks
Greentree Wellbeing offers Wellbeing talks full of information, practical tips and advice on a range of topics to inspire and motivate your workforce.Our talks can be used as lunch and learns, individually, as part of a programme or an event. They can be added to our wellbeing packages or be booked separately.Our speakers are all of a high standard and expert professionals in their areas of Wellbeing.
The effects of Physical Fitness on Cognitive Function and Performance

This talk will give you an introduction to the brain and recent research backed up by evidence from MRI scans. The talk focuses on how exercise directly affects the brain and the body. Tracy looks at the best exercises for improved cognition and performance and how to incorporate movement into a busy working day.

I was a co-founding Director of Edinburgh Festival of Cycling and has given talks to many organisations including the Scottish Lighthouse Board, Run and Become and Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival, also masterclasses for sporting events such as Etape Caledonia cycle race and workshops in Waterstones and Blackwells bookshops. I am a regular columnist for a number of local magazines and blogs, and has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Running magazine and BBC Radio Scotland. Get fit and enjoy it!

I am a mindfulness and well-being coach and facilitator, accredited through The Mindfulness Association, providing courses, seminars, retreats and 1:1 well-being coaching sessions.
Prior to moving into wellbeing, I spent 23 years in the corporate world as a project and programme manager working on large complex change within the Financial Services sector. This experience has proved invaluable in ensuring I can present to the business community in a way that is relatable, practical and inspiring.
I believe passionately in the power of mindfulness to help unlock human potential, increase wellbeing and enable a change in the way we approach life, to promote the future health and prosperity of the planet.
